Who We Are


Lusaka Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is part of the Adventist global family in Southern Zambia Union Conference of Southern Africa Indian Ocean Division who hold the Bible as the ultimate authority. We exist to fulfill the everlasting Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as explained in Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Revelation 14:6-12.

We are present in five (5) Zambian political districts including Chilanga, Kafue, Lusaka, Mumbwa and Shibuyunji. Our territory stretches from the Great East Road at East Park Traffic circle to Mumbwa Road where it borders with Midlands East and West Zambia Conferences on the northern side. On the eastern side it borders with the newly created Woodlands Conference along Nangwenya Road to Alick Nkhata Avenue and meanders to Nationalists Road through United Nation Road to Ring Road and joins New Kasama Road and runs down to Kafue Road at Lilayi traffic circle. On the south it borders with the South Zambia Conference along the Kafue River while on the west it borders with the West Zambia Field.

The Conference (as of January 15th, 2020) has 263 organized churches and 186 companies giving a total of 449 congregations with 109, 571 members besides adherents. The congregations are divided into 22 Mission Districts and 1 Church district which are under the supervision of district pastors.
